MIDGRID 'PR Pressed' Gratings are generally manufactured with Meshes in multiples of 11mm. These can be supplied in Plain Top or Serrated Top Surfaces and We can provide a range of over 400 Different Combinations of Meshes and Bearing Bars. Gratings can be fabricated to suit your required dimensions and we can also incorporate Cut-Outs and Kick Plates, as well as Deep Binding Bars. Gratings can be supplied in Self Colour or Hot Dip Galvanised Finish.
Gratings are manufactured in accordance with DIN 24537 and Galvanised in accordance with DIN 50976.

PR Pressed Carton Gratings are also known as Full Grates, Eggbox Gratings and even Ceiling Gratings. These Gratings are manufactured by pressing the Load Bearing Bar and Transverse Bar, both of which are equal in terms of Depth and Thickness. The result is a much more rigid grating that offers better qualities in terms of actual strength and visual appearance.

Heel-Proof or Ball Proof Gratings have Transverse Bars at closer centres than regular gratings. Heel-Proof Gratings have Transverse Bars at 11 mm which gives an internal space of 9 mm. These gratings can have plain or serrated bars in either direction or both directions.

PR Pressed Gratings lend themselves to Heavy Duty Grating requirements due to the nature of their construction. These gratings can be produced with Bearing Bars from 60 x 5 mm right up to 150 x 5 mm in depth and thickness.

Pressed Gratings lend themselves very well to Fencing and Balustrade elements. The Nature of the product allows passage of light and wind. The also offer excellent properties as far as Grafitti Proof and can also prevent climbing. They offer excellent security characteristics.
